Hope that your business has not been affected yet and will not have been affected in the future too.
As you might know, some Euro countries and the U.S. has begun to reopen gradually, but unfortunately Japan has still suffered from the spreading in major cities, like Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, and Nagoya etc. Japanese government officially announced state of emergency at the beginning of April, hence we Pressio has also followed the policy and most of our staff members have worked at home for recent weeks. However, we have enough stock of the products and the parts too, and we are able to correspond to your inquiry.
If you had any questions about Pressio, you're the most welcome always.
< General information of Japan >
According to Japan ministry of health on 21st April 2020,
the number of infected cases is 11,119 altogether, and the deaths is 186 cases.
It seems that the both cases have increased rapidly, but the case numbers starting from today is more important because it's been two weeks since the state of emergency.
If the infected case number does not decrease, the request to refrain from going outside ( from Japanese government ) will be expand more probably.
Some people from abroad might misunderstand, so I'd like to explain a little more.
The request from Japanese government is not " lockdown " but " request " , therefore some business persons still commute, and some people go outside to a supermarket freely.
However, we're almost wearing a mask and we always care about social distancing.
( As a matter of fact, Japanese government doesn't have the authority of making Japan lockdown because of Japan constitution. )
In terms of the economic situation, most of the analysts say that the impact will be much larger than that of 2008 global financial crisis in Japan as well, and most of them are estimating the GDP growth ratio will become minus in this year.
Also, lots of companies, especially in food, tourism, manufacturing industries, are suffering from the cash flow, because they need to stop their businesses, but they need to keep paying salary of the employees and the rent fee etc. Hence Japanese government has been considering some financial aids to them for now.
Even though it appears to be terrible in Japan, the medical care systems of Japan have still worked. Therefore next 2 weeks starting today would be the most important to us, Japan.
< Situation of Pressio >
We Pressio has also followed the request and the staff members almost have worked from home, and fortunately our business has not been affected so much by the virus, and all members of Pressio are safe until now.
However our sales members have refrained from visiting customer's office of us basically, and our factory has stopped producing for the moment too, but we have enough stock and we can arrange to prepare your machine too.
In addition, because of visitors safety, we're afraid but we have stopped accepting visitors coming to our factory or our branch for the machine training or the demonstration until Japanese government decides reopening.
Instead, we would conduct experiments with your applications (samples) or similar ones for you in our factory, and we would report back to you asap.
Of course we will reply your questions within 24 hours, thus if you had any questions or interests, please feel free to ask us anytime.
Again, we strongly hope that people in the world have been safe and will have been safe in the future as well, and hope that this virus will settles down and we can resume asap.
Please take good care of yourself too.
