As you know, the new corona virus has still been spreading whole world unfortunately.
Therefore, I would like to report back to you about the situation of Pressio and of Japan from my view-points, as follows.
< General information of Japan >
According to Japan ministry of health on 10th March 2020,
the number of infected cases is 567 altogether except for the cases from the cruise, and the deaths is 12 cases.
( the number of the cases caused by the cruise is 697, and the deaths is 7 cases. )
Japanese government has made the best effort to prevent the virus from spreading and they more focused on decreasing death ratio recent weeks.
Hence, Prime minster Shinzo Abe announced and asked us, including people in Japan from overseas, to stay home as much as we can until 19th March.
It seems that this policy could be effective, and the number of the case has not been increased dramatically for recent one week in Japan.
However, many companies in Japan, especially small or middle scale of companies, have suffered from the paralyzed business environments and economic activities.
I'm supposed that the serious recession is inevitable and it will be beginning soon in Japan unfortunately.
( Even though Japanese government plan to prepare large financial aids to companies which are facing the possibility of being bankrupt.)
Withe regard to Olympic 2020,
the committee has been struggling and has made best efforts to hold on the original schedule, but a lot of Japanese don't think it is possible.
Most of Japanese people seem to think that it is the best to put it off until next year.
< Situation of Pressio >
Fortunately our business has not been affected so much by the virus, and all members of Pressio are safe until now.
However, except for sales members and factory members, all Pressio members have basically worked at home since 3 weeks ago just in case.
( If necessary, of course we go to office to work, such as urgent matters etc )
Thanks to the early actions, our factory has been able to keep our production delivery time and customer support system too.
Please don't worry, if you had any issues on our products, please let us know anytime.
However, because of visitors safety, we're afraid but we would like to stop accepting visitors coming to our factory for machine trainings, just in case, until April for the moment.
Instead, we would conduct experiments with your applications or similar applications for you in our factory.
Also, we will reply your questions within 24 hours, thus if you had any questions or interests, please feel free to ask us anytime.
Again, we strongly hope that people in the world have been safe and will have been safe in the future as well, and hope that this virus will end up soon.
