One company whose business is related to catalog and leaflet distribution contacted us and they asked us to make a demonstration of Pressio collator.
The new Coronavirus had begun to spread, but they needed our machine asap, therefore we conducted the demonstration at our Yokohama warehouse instead of our factory in Nagoya on 16th March 2020.
( Because I had not been allowed to go to Nagoya from Tokyo on a business trip at that time.)

- They would like to collate around 200,000 sets every month.

- We failed the demonstration, but they purchased 2 units of our high-end model ( 1500TZR-SC ) in the end.
Haha, we always share about result of a demonstration honestly.
As a matter of fact, even though there was no problem on the collating machine itself, but the collated sample sets after being ejected from the main body were scattered around the belt-conveyor of the lifter ( became messy on the conveyor ).
They didn't hope that the top paper would be folded, so they didn't use the " outer-jacket function (wrapper paper function) ", hence it was difficult to make the collated sample sets stably organized on the conveyor.

That's why, we suggested " SC model ( our flagship model )" instead, because it can prevent the above situation from happening.
We conducted an experiment with the SC model again on another day, and it was successful.
Even though it is more expensive than TZ-SH model, they were satisfied with the machine and price and they decided to purchase 2 units of the machine.
In addition, our continuous operating function is attractive to them, therefore they installed 15 bins collator ( not 8 bins ).
It the sample were folded, like a catalog or a brochure, we would need to refill the samples very often, but if we used " continuous operating function", we would be able to set same samples on different trays ( 2 or 3 trays ) beforehand.
It means that we can keep running the collator without stop.

Because of the Coronavirus, we can not recommend that you visit our factory or our warehouse until the virus settles down, but if you could send your samples to our factory or to our warehouse, we would be able to carry out an experiment and to report back to you the result honestly.
