We conducted a demonstration on 25th June 2020 for a logistics company whose customer is an online retail company.
As you know, currently a lot of online retail companies ship an item with some advertises, like leaflets and catalogs etc, which are chosen for each their customer.
In order to cultivate customer's interest (cross selling), they often include some advertises in the item shipping case.
Also, most of online retail companies would like to choose leaflets and catalogs etc for each customer, because customer's interests are not same, thus we should prepare unique advertise set one by one.
Thus, we've been developing the new programable collating system, and it will be released soon.
( If you set a program which advertises will be collated and transmit the data to Pressio collator, Pressio collator will collate the advertises selectively based on the data.)

Let's get back to the main topic.
The state of emergency in Japan has been lifted totally since 17th June, thus 1 potential customer of us kindly came to our Yokohama warehouse to check Pressio collator on 25th June 2020.
Of course, we all wore a mask, because of the virus.
The potential customers need the above programable collating system.
Actually we've still been developing the program, but the progress is good for now, thus they hoped to check if there would be no issue on Pressio collator in itself ( except for programable function ) with their actual applications beforehand.

< Sample information of the customer >
- It's 5 kinds of catalog, leaflet, postcard, and invoice.
- The 2 catalogs consist of 8 pages and 12 pages.
- The main size is A4 ( 210cm × 297cm ), and small post card is A5 ( 148cm × 210cm )
- The invoice sheet will be folded, and it wraps the other samples.
- They would like to collate more than 1,000 or 1,500 sets per hour on average.

- The processing speed ( setting ) is around 6,000 sets per hour.
< The result >
- It was successful.
There was either no paper jam, no double feeding, or no scratch on the application.

It is lifting the every 10 collated sample sets because of the customer's request.
As a matter of fact, even though this model (Pressio collator) is stand-alone, but we've been developing a new software which can integrate Pressio collator with an external serve and an external equipment line.
Thus, with the new Pressio collator ( we've been developing ), you will be able to integrate Pressio collator to your line and to control Pressio collator, such as timing to start collating, which trays running etc.
Currently it's risky to collect many workers and to make them do some simple jobs, like collating, by manually with crowded place, because there is high possibility that they will be infected by the virus.
Therefore, we're supposed that a lot of companies will replace manual simple tasks with efficient machinery, such as one line that multi functions are integrated in.
