< In the case of Pressio collator >
There are few paper jam errors happen with Pressio collator compared to conventional collators, because our paper feeding system adopts to multiple linked feeder devices.
( That's why, even folded paper and booklets are also collated very smoothly without any paper jam errors. )
Even though lot of companies are sometimes concerned if there are damages on the surface of the samples, it is so seldom that situation.
It's because our collator uses big flexible rubber rolls which combine wide roll and narrow roll. It's actually the latest technology and lot of Japanese manufacturers have not been able to achieve this design.
The features are.....
- Because of the big shape of rubber roll, pressure to the surface of your sample will become dispersed, thus there will be rarely damages on the surface.
In the case when there are still damages slightly there, if you used narrow roll only ( removing wide one), you would be able to solve the issue.
Also, your operators can adjust the pressure degree ( of each roll ) on each tray by dial.
- Thanks to the big rubber roll, the collating conditions will be more stabilized,
Hence it's seldom that some collating errors like paper jam, double feeding and miss feeding will happen.
1- No need to care about errors, your operators can concentrate on the operations more.
2- Able to adjust the feeding strength (higher flexible rubber rolls ),
therefore your operators can quickly adjust the collating condition for various samples anytime.
3- Compared to air suction collating system, an ordinary friction feeding system tends to cause error,
however thanks to the big flexible rubber roll ( adjustable the pressure ),
our collator has accomplished " high speed and no damage collating " even for various samples.

Conventional machines almost can NOT collate " folded paper "
like shown in the figure on the left.
Thus, we can not use the conventional machine for booklet etc.

Conventional collators feed the top paper of (pile) samples one by one, and the each pile is set horizontally.

- When you refill (add) your samples on a tray,
you need to stop the machine firstly every time....

Our Pressio collator also feeds from a top paper of each pile, but the each pile is set diagonally.
Therefore,,,,,,,,,
- We can refill (add) papers on the tray while the machine is still working.
( No need to stop the machine first. )
- Even if your operators are not used to refilling the papers,
it's very easy to refill with our special tool.

Connectable external lifter

Our collator is a vertical type, and each collated set will be ejected from the bottom.
Therefore a worker need to bend his/her knees to pick it up every time.
In order to solve the issue, we've prepared our external lifter.
- The lifter raises the collated sets until around our waist position automatically.
- Even during the lifter is rising, the machine keep collating. ( Keep Non-stop-collating )
- The flexible working program, operator can set the timing when the lifter will rise,
such as every 50 sets, every 100sets etc.
1- Workers can refill NCR papers and can move collated sets(stock) to next process at the same time smoothly.
Because there is no need to pick up the collated sets (stock ) on the lifter quickly and it will
keep collating.
2- Able to move the collated sets on the lifter to your next process very smoothly,
because the stock is being lifted until our waist position.
3- Able to improve your collating environment, workers no need to bend their knees anymore.
Basically there are 3 factors we should consider well so that we can improve collating lead-time as below,
#1 : Collating speed of the machine itself
#2 : Process of refilling your sample paper
#3 : Picking up and moving the collated sets to your next process smoothly
